LEAD THE WAY WITH
SUCCESS
about me

I have a lifetime career in education, specialising in the Early Years. As a former head teacher of a highly successful nursery school in London I became intrigued not only with how young children learn, but also how adults engage in learning and development. In school I introduced a culture of coaching which promoted excellent continuous staff development and high staff satisfaction and retention. For the past 12 years I have worked within the coaching climate and am now working as a freelance coach and consultant.

My work currently includes one to one coaching with Headteachers and senior leaders. I coach individuals and groups through the GLA Early Years Leaders Programme across London. I work with Best Practice Network on the Outstanding Leadership Programme for the NPQH, and also tutor on the EYITT programme. Tailored consultancy and training to meet the needs of your organisation can be provided.

I hold a level 7 ILM Executive Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring and am accredited to facilitate Action Learning Sets.
I am an associate coach/trainer with Linden Learning and Early Education (The British Association for Childhood Education). I am a member of the Association for Coaching and uphold their Global Code of Ethics.
"Ruth is an outstanding colleague and I'm delighted to have her on the Linden Learning Coaching team. Her coaching approach is thoughtful, considered and supportive. She is also able to ask the difficult questions and quietly challenge when challenge is needed. I have no hesitation in recommending her as a coach."
